- Staff Engineer - Product and Platform Engineering, with Finance domain having 0-30 years of experience, is expected to have a robust understanding of Java at a foundational to intermediate level.
- The role requires the ability to design, develop, and maintain Java applications effectively while being familiar with the Java ecosystem, including libraries and frameworks.
- A well-versed understanding of the principles of object-oriented programming is essential, and knowledge of Java Virtual Machine (JVM) internals and performance tuning is a plus.
- Experience in backend development, API integration, and data processing is necessary to succeed in this position.
- A Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science Engineering or a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Software Engineering is required for this role.
- Preferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 11 Developer and Spring Professional Certification.
- Strong experience in the Spring framework and familiarity with building RESTful APIs using Spring are good to have.
- Knowledge of dependency injection, aspect-oriented programming in Spring, and understanding of Spring Boot for microservices development are also preferred.
- Experience with Spring Security for securing applications and familiarity with unit testing frameworks compatible with Spring, such as JUnit or Mockito, is beneficial.
- The candidate should be able to work in Agile development environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
