Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with 5+ years focused on test automation and deep expertise in modern frameworks like Playwright and Cypress.
• Expert-level ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable test code in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Proven track record of architecting, building, and scaling automation frameworks from scratch (Page Object Model, custom command libraries, reusable utilities, etc.).
• Extensive experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, including designing API test strategies.
• Hands-on experience integrating and optimizing automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using Harness.
• Practical experience applying AI tools and prompt engineering to accelerate test case generation and quality workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to partner closely with Development and Product teams, influencing quality practices beyond your own work.
• Strong communication skills and a track record of mentoring engineers and setting technical direction for QA/automation.

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack).
• Experience defining quality metrics, test strategy, and reporting for leadership.
